slow cinema-500-300

Slow Cinema is a bimonthly movie night using the medium of film to enhance the knowledge of our environment, food system and production methods. We hope to mobilise critical reflection utilising film as a medium to challenge our perceptions and inspire us to actively pursue social change. The aims of our film events are: to further enhance knowledge of terrestrial and marine ecosystems; to think openly about the effects of food both on and off screen; to meet like minded people in a causal atmosphere. Organic snacks sourced from local small-scale farmers and artisans will be available on sale.
