We at Slow Food® Barbados are challenging Barbadians between September 4th – 11th to eating only foods grown, caught, or raised in Barbados! This raises awareness of the nutritional, economical, environmental and cultural benefits of eating locally sourced foods.

How 'Slow' Can You Go?

The #SlowSeven Challenge aims to promote sustainable communities, healthy bodies and support local farmers and fishermen. Increasing the emphasis on locally sourced foods benefits our local economy, environment and community, and it can also be more nutritious.
