During this COVID-19 pandemic, Slow Food Barbados is taking steps to safely provide food for the Islands most vulnerable. There are many communities on the island that do not have adequate access to food – from children who relied on one meal a day that was provided by their school, to isolated seniors or disabled persons and those who have lost their primary source of income.

Slow Food Barbados Chef Alliance, a dedicated group of chefs working with the assistance of farmers, grocers, restaurants and businesses in Barbados, have come together in partnership with the Parish Independence Committees and with guidance from the Barbados Red Cross to start a Soup Drive. Soups will be distributed to feed those left vulnerable from the effects of the COVID-19 virus with fresh, hearty and delicious meals.

We need your help!

We are asking those who can, to donate produce, supplies, and ingredients, as well as chefs to volunteer their time to batch and cook fresh hearty soups. Your gift today will help us put meals on the table for Barbadians in this time of need.

Together, we can make a difference – one soup at a time.

100% of your donation supports the Chef Alliance Slow Soup Drive.

A financial donation of any size will have a significant impact in our vulnerable communities. Donate 1 bowl of soup or feed a Parish for a month.
